MASCOT’s social responsibility covers a lot and includes relationships with suppliers, customers and employees in connection to the environment both locally and globally.
Code of conduct
At MASCOT we work from a global Code of Conduct which consists of a series of basic principles for ethical and responsible conduct throughout the world. Compliance with both national and international legislation and international conventions for example in connection with our own factory in Vietnam and external suppliers is taken as a matter of course. We focus on creating a good environment for employees, because we believe that good working conditions are a requirement for employees to actively participate in developing the company. Therefore, we have open and clear personnel policies where there is the possibility for diversity and development.
At MASCOT’s own sewing facility and raw material warehouse in Vietnam we focus especially on preventative health measures and high safety levels. Actual initiatives include the recruitment of our own doctor and nurse at the factory, healthy and nutritious meals for employees, good pay, trade unions and an 8 hour day.
As a family owned company headquartered in Silkeborg, Denmark, we place great importance in playing an active role in the local community and provide support to various activities and associations. We also provide sponsorship.
As a business we must take part in the responsibility of protecting our environment. All our suppliers commit to adhere to thier countries current applicable laws on the environment.
