This hammer holder is constructed from super tough nylon that is able to flex and helps from marring surfaces like most metal hammer holders. It is also very lightweight which is a must when your tool belt is already full of tools and fasteners. Our hammer hanger has been through extensive field testing in several different construction fields and is designed to with stand extreme work conditions. The heavy duty nylon strap was designed so that the weight of the hammer will not pull the velcro loose
